I agree that the football program is heading where it needs to be in developing a winning tradition. The JV also beat S. Effingham last night 7-6. Though the varsity has a tough road ahead with the new region schedule they are also heading in the right direction. We need more freshmen games to assure these boys learn the system and get the playing time needed at that level whether they progress on to JV or Varsity.

Eventually this school will be like other larger major high schools with our current growth requiring a 9th, 10th, JV and Varsity teams. We currently have about 85-90 kids on the rosters and that will surely grow. Look at the middle school that now this year requires a 7th and 8th grade team and schedules as the program has grown that quickly. I hope that in the future the infrastructure and coaching staff numbers to support these activities grows with the student population. Go Wildcats!
