The Richmond Hill High School volleyball team bowed out in the first round of state when they lost three straight matches to Flowery Branch in the RHHS gym Saturday.

"We had a rough start but got moving in the second and third game but it wasn’t enough," RHHS Coach Asheigh Davis-Lee said. "Our inaugural season has come to an end, however what a successful season it was. We have a lot to be proud of, and I can’t wait until next season."

Senior Gaby Parker again led the Lady 'Cats but it wasn’t enough to overtake the Flowery Branch Lady Falcons.

The Lady Wildcats, who won the Region 3-AAA tournament last week, ended the season with a 9-1 record for Region 3-AAA and 16-10 overall.
